Very comprehensive set and perfect for general maintenance duties.The tools them self's feel nicely finished and have a black finish which I guess helps with surface rust ?having 1/4 3/8 1/2 drive sockets all in the same set it nice and I like the way the long 1/2 extension doubles as a t-bar.The ratchet spanners are a bit gimmicky and I would have preferred regular combination spanners as you can putmore torque on them than ratchets ones as the ratchets slip and I don't know how useful the mini bolt cropper will be.The biggest selling point of this set is the lifetime warranty, I have no idea if that works but if it does then its worthwhile getting this set.

Such a great kit, got these specifically for the ratchet wrenches, but the rest is key too. Such a comprehensive kit. All the tools work well as expected and have a nice heavy duty finish so are expected to last ages. There's such a range of sizes and the sockets cover both imperial and metric units. As well as the tools there's other added items such as bolt cutters, pipe grips, and screwdriver.The case is heavy duty and securely clicks closed. It is fairly slimline and can be laid flat or rest stood up. The whole item is around 17kg but expected for the amount of tools included so can't complain there.Overall this is good value for money and good for the average d.i.y.er and general at home mechanic. Would reccomend

One thing that sticks to mind about this piece of kit was lifting it into the house. To be fair the listing does show that this product will weigh around 17kg. I did not read this. I looked at the product and I could see this being very useful for a single point for tools that I would need once my house renovation projects are no more and I just need access to tools for small jobs now and again. I felt this would be perfect.Apart from being deceptively heavy, I look at the tools in the box and find it hard to realise that collectively they weigh the 17kg. Perhaps this suggests the weight of the individual items is a lot more than I imagined.Visual inspection shows that you have a collection of tools that 'look' very well made and finished with a lovely glossy coating. Then start to pick them up and you realise the weight of them. The tools themselves feel solid and adjustable spanners, for example, dont have much of a slack. The sockets feel very premium and heavy.One thing for me that I never had was ratchet wrenches and so was please to see the inclusion of them.I am just a diyer and this package is well geared towards the mechanic, however, there are certainly tools there that are useful to me that I would be often using. The socket sets would come into the element when I work on the car but this is not an area I specialise in.I do find the reviewing of certain items difficult, this one is no exception. How can I tell these are robust and will last the distance especially given the initial purchase price? It seems to only occur when you use things in anger that the faults and limitations of the product are revealed.Visually, I found the tools looked lovely and a shame to use and scratch.I will rate them four stars to begin with and will update this review if things do not live up to expectations.

So far seems like a fairly complete set for most mechanical jobs. A wide variety of bits and sockets. This is heavy tool kit! However having most tools available in one kit is worth it. I like to keep my tool in my truck. If I ever need to work on it, my tools are there. I am not a professional mechanic, but like to do as much as I can myself. This makes a great portable kit or a first tool kit for a student mechanic. The couple of things that steered me to this kit over others. 1) I only have metric vehicles, so getting a toolset with standard sizes is a waste. 2) Having the range of socket sizes from 4mm to 32mm and drives 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 all with extensions and universals. 3) Having several different pliers and snips. 4) Huge variety of bits, most of these will never get used but they are there. I couple suggestions to the manufacturer. 1) This is more of a mechanic toolset. IMHO the included claw hammer is unnecessary, it would be better with a double sided hammer, metal on one side and rubber on the other. 2) As much as I hate unnecessary packaging, maybe shrink wrap the kit before sending to Amazon. I lost one of the bits in shipping as the case had opened up at some point and come out of the overbox. Hopefully it's one that doesn't get used ever. Overall seems like a decent deal, I might update when I get to use it.
